Abstract: In recent decades, the world has undergone significant transformations driven by economic  expansion and technological advancement, especially with the globalization of the internet and  the rise of social media. These changes have directly influenced human behavior and various  economic sectors, including tourism. In this context, this undergraduate thesis aims to analyze  the transformation of the tourism landscape in the city of Parnaíba-PI, through two travel  agencies, in light of the use of social media during the pandemic period. To achieve this goal,  the author adopted a basic research design, employing an exploratory methodological approach  that included bibliographic research and fieldwork, integrating both qualitative and quantitative  methods. Data were collected through structured questionnaires applied to representatives of  the selected travel agencies. The results indicate that social media became essential tools for  the adaptation and survival of travel agencies during the health crisis. Instagram stood out as  the main platform used, valued for its practicality, accessibility, and ability to enhance the  visibility of services. Agencies intensified their use of these platforms to strengthen customer  relationships, promote special offers, and convey information aimed at ensuring tourist safety  and well-being. The study concludes that the pandemic accelerated the digitalization process in  the tourism sector in Parnaíba, compelling local entrepreneurs to adopt new communication and  digital marketing strategies. The strategic use of social media represents not only a response to  the pandemic context but also a reconfiguration of how agencies interact with the market and  promote their services. Therefore, the study highlights the relevance of social media as effective  tools for promoting tourism in the post-pandemic scenario.

Abstract: The lexicon can be defined as a structural set of words, which can be the object of  study and even used as a tool for language learning. In this regard, the present work  aims to analyze the tourism-related lexicon in the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign  Language (ELE), focusing on the subfields of travel agencies, events and gastronomy. &#xD;
The theoretical framework of the research is based on authors such as Biderman (1996),  Pontes (2009), Borba (2019), Moreira (2018), Porto Dapena (2014), Garriga Escribano (2001),  Rey-Debove (2005), Praxedes Filho (2018), and Rodríguez (2016), whose contributions were  essential for the lexicographic and pedagogical analysis of the corpus.The research uses the  Señas dictionary (2013) as its corpus, which is considered the first semi-bilingual  lexicographic work specifically designed for Brazilian learners of Spanish. Thus, based  on the selection of nine entries; three from the travel agencies subfield, three from the  events subfield, and three from gastronomy; we analyze the definitions and usage  examples provided by the dictionary, considering the importance of this information for  the understanding and acquisition of specialized vocabulary. This is a qualitative and  descriptive study, grounded in bibliographic review and lexicographic analysis of the  selected entries. The results indicate that the Señas dictionary is a valuable  pedagogical tool for teaching tourism-related vocabulary in the Brazilian context,  especially due to its incorporation of both linguistic and extralinguistic aspects that are  useful for learners. However, there are still areas that could be improved regarding the  completeness and clarity of the information provided.

Abstract: This work seeks to analyze the impacts generated by the absence of regional  commercial aviation in the tourism sector in the state of Piauí, more precisely in the  municipality of Parnaíba-PI. The work focuses on the end of regular operations carried out by  the company Azul Linhas Aéreas, which had as its base of operations the Parnaíba International  Airport - Mayor Doutor João Silva Filho. The general objective seeks to analyze the suspension  of Azul Linhas Aéreas flights in Parnaíba and its impact on local tourism. The specific  objectives aim to: a) Investigate the main factors that contributed to the suspension of Azul  Linhas Aéreas' scheduled flights in the municipality of Parnaíba; b) Understand the impacts  that the absence of these flights had on the operation and development of local tourism; c)  Analyze how the public and private sectors related to tourism acted, or attempted to act, to  prevent the discontinuation of the airline's scheduled flights in the city. This research used  interviews with previously prepared questionnaires for each topic. The research was conducted  in the field and online, targeting the sectors relevant to the study. To carry out the research for  this work, interviews with questionnaires previously prepared for each topic mentioned were  used. The importance of regular flights for a medium-sized city like Parnaíba is evident in the  impacts generated by the absence of this mode of transport in various sectors that encompass  tourism as a whole.
