Abstract: The Feira do Patrimônio is an initiative of the Graduate Program in Arts, Herita-
ge and Museology of the Federal University of Delta do Parnaíba (UFDPar), which
takes place annually in different cities in the Mid-North region of Brazil. This action
is part of the educational and cultural activities at the Museu da Vila | MUV and is
aimed at the most varied audiences of interest in topics related to the arts, heri-
tage, museums, tourism, entrepreneurship and other businesses. Since 2016, the
executive team composed of students, teachers and administrative technicians of
the program, inspired by good practices of similar actions, are developing a diver-
sified program that includes conferences, conversation circles, workshops, short
courses, oral communications, artistic presentations, promote cultural tourism,
social entrepreneurship and the circular economy. It allows establishing connec-
tions between community, university and other institutions, with the objective of
promoting, valuing and giving visibility to Cultural Heritage. In the perspective
of contributing to improvements to the event, this action research aims to build
a critical and descriptive memory of the Feira do Patrimônio, through the study
of previous editions, analysis of the stages of elaboration (planning, execution
and post-fair), as well as through reports of experience in participating in the or-
ganization process of the 4th edition of the Fair. Therefore, as a final product of
this research, four digital portfolios are proposed, one for each edition held, in
order to register, present and publicize the Feira do Patrimônio. For the construc-
tion of the descriptive memory, consultations were held with the coordination of
the PPGAPM, in addition to bibliographic and documentary research. The critical
analysis was carried out by applying questionnaires to the organizing committee
of past fairs (2016, 2017 and 2018) and with the participants of the last edition
held in 2019, then a SWOT analysis was developed, based on the results obtained
in that assessment. The data collected shows in general that the event was well
executed in the performance of the analyzed editions, fulfilling the objectives that
were proposed. The immersion in the creative process of this action also made it
possible to verify the points that can be improved in order to guarantee the suc-
cess of the next editions, among which the need to strengthen the strategic plan
for fundraising, communication and dissemination of the event stood out. In view
of the observed challenges, portfolios were produced in digital magazine format
for publication on the master’s website. This tool presents itself as a business card
that aims to publicize the work carried out in these four years, increase the ne-
twork of contacts, strengthen the event’s brand, in search of prospecting for new audiences and partnerships.
